5 Steps to help prevent acne!

Acne and pimples can sometimes feel like hopeless causes especially when they just keep coming back. As a person who has experience with breakouts, here are 5 habits that have helped me calm down my breakouts and prevent further acne.

1. Drink Water

I know this may sound a bit obvious, but drinking at least 8 cups of water every day really helps keep skin hydrated and limits acne. I like to keep a glass of water beside my bed at night, so that way I can drink enough water to help keep me hydrated throughout the night!

This clay powder is only $10 on Amazon, and it has totally transformed my skincare routine! I love using this mask 1-2 times a week because it helps brighten my face and prevents further breakouts. Also, this mask got rid of a lot of my acne scars and dark spots around my trouble areas on my face.

3. Moisturize

I have dry skin, so moisturizing my face a lot more every morning and night really helped keep my face hydrated. This healthy habit also helps unclog pores and prevents breakouts!

4. DON’T PICK YOUR ACNE

I know it’s tempting, but it is seriously detrimental to your skin. Popping pimples and blackheads can cause more acne to come up in place, and even cause acne scars which take months to clear.
